3 steps to happiness

In order, and none of them require you to have your life sorted first.

Happiness is not a mood you manufacture on your own, and it is not the reward for finally getting your life in order. It tends to arrive sideways, through a person, a book and a table.

Here are three steps, in that order. None of them ask you to clean yourself up first.

01

Know Him

When you think of Jesus, do you picture a sad painting on a church wall? Put aside everything you think you already know. He wants to make Himself known, and this time in person. Open the door.

Note: He does not like filters. Talk to Him the way you would talk to a friend.

02

Listen to Him

Get a Bible and start with the Gospel of John, even if you are sure you know the story: there is a great deal in there you do not know yet. As you read you find out more about Him, and, unexpectedly, more about yourself. Let it surprise you.

A gift: if you do not own a Bible, we will give you one. Ask any of us on a Sunday.

03

Come along

Travelling companions are not optional. Find the Lifegroup nearest to where you live: one evening a week, friends, food, and a conversation that goes somewhere. If you want, our welcome team will help you find the closest one.

Note: surround yourself with people who pull the best out of you.

The third step is the one people skip

Sunday is where you meet the church, and a Lifegroup is where you get to know it. Both are on the events page, and both are easier to walk into than you expect.

Come and see for yourself

Sundays at 11am, Lifegroups midweek, and a pastor who will happily buy you a coffee and answer anything you want to ask.
